Jelani Lattimore (Zionheart) has been called to bring God's message of hope, salvation, redemption and deliverance through his gifts in music. He is not ashamed to preach what he believes - that Jesus Christ is the way and truth to abundant life on earth, as well as eternal life in Heaven with God.
Born in Washington DC, as an ordained Pastor from Fort Washington, MD, he and his wife, Minister Amirah Lattimore (Zionheart Dance Choreographer) focused on preparing ministers in the Fine/ Performing Arts Ministries.

A Journey To Zionheart Music
Jelani Lattimore's Zionheart journey into music ministry is original. Since he was young, his creative process in songwriting, through his unique "Vocal Instrumentation" style, has allowed him to become the music he creates.
For over a decade, he has studied and learned to play several musical instruments. Jelani has also been a member of many choirs, gospel groups and bands, as well as composed scores for musical plays and productions all across the Washington DC Metropolitan area. This musical journey has allowed him to collaborate with some of the best singers, musicians and producers in the "DMV" (District of Columbia, Maryland, Virginia).
Jelani created and founded the registered trademarked brand names "Zionheart" and "Dunamista". Jelani defines Dunamista as a man who wants to be used, inspired and led by the power of the Holy Spirit in his life. He believes the Lord gave him those brands to create Zionheart Music Ministry under
Dunamista Music Inc. (DMI) | Dunamista Music Investments, LLC. These brands have created a network of Christian musicians, singers and producers who are inspired to collaborate to encourage people into a deeper connection with God through Jesus Christ. This music is meant to emphasize what Gospel music is truly about, (saving souls).
Zionheart's signature "End-time Gospel-Soul" sound blends many genres of music into complex Gospel, Praise and Worship arrangements, as well as socially relevant, spiritual songs.
After years of ministry, one fact remains true about Jelani Lattimore. He is Zionheart for Jesus.
So whether singing, composing, producing, playing, writing, rapping or even acting, the redemptive truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, as well as the sacred integrity of praise and worship is the main inspiration in his music, all to the glory of God.
